  1. SMALL TOURISM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

With a particular focus on businesses that are owned and managed by previously disadvantaged individuals or groups TEP developed a tourism small business market segmentation tool and a graduation model for the selection and assistance of small tourism businesses.

The segmentation tool identifies the suitable small business and fits them into various levels of the graduation model. Over a period of time and through a step-by-step assistance process these businesses graduate as sustainable, growing tourism businesses.

TEP's assistance includes financial and non financial and commences with a review of the small tourism business's product or service, its skills levels and systems and finally its marketing and market access needs.
